How much are you paying for the DTV Visa? I often see 350,- USD here but I applied in new zealand and they charged me 2000,- NZD (roughly 1250,- USD) through the thai embassy?
Advice on simple DTV - have been enquiring about Muay Thai classes but seems like many businesses are using this as a cash grab, quoting between 10,000 to 15,000 THB just to prepare letter, with no guarantee of DTV. Would a different soft skill be easier such as cooking...? Cost is just for paperwork, there was a further cost on top of that for classes starting from 35,000 THB
I was offered a job so I need to change my current visa to a Non Immigrant B visa in order to get the work permit processed.
I have read that it is possible to obtain your Non B visa within Thailand at a few different immigration offices. If possible I would like to avoid another trip to Vientiane or another place outside of Thailand with an embassy or consulate.
I have been told it is possible to do it in Chaeng Watthana and then someone else told me they recently stopped issuing Non B visas.
As it seems that these things are constantly changing in the current “climate” I have a couple of questions;
Has anyone done this at Chaeng Watthana recently? When? Did you do it by yourself or with an agent? How long did the whole procedure take? And how much did it cost altogether?
