I have a Non-B visa (3 months, extended to 1 year) and a work permit.
If my work permit ends in September, and my visa ends in October, am I correct in thinking my work permit needs to be cancelled or the labour department need to be informed its finished and that is the day I have to leave (or go and apply for 7 days).
Do I also need to go to the labour department and cancel my Non-B visa?
I have seen some things saying you can stay until your visa expires, some saying you need to leave straight away, and some saying I need to go and cancel the visa myself or it is classed as an overstay.
Hello. I have a question about my passports and ED visa. My ED visa expires on July 15. I have an appointment to pick up my new passport from my embassy in Bangkok on July 10.
I plan to cancel my ED visa first, then pick up my new passport, which will render my old passport cancelled. After that, I plan to do a quick border run by van.
My question is: Do I need to transfer my cancelled visa to my new passport before doing the border run, or can I exit Thailand using both my old and new passports and get a new entry stamp on my new passport?
Am I correct in thinking that my friend from Myanmar who has a B non immigrant visa and a work permit will need to purchase a re entry permit if he is leaving Thailand for a couple of days. If leaving from Phuket airport can this be purchased at the airport.
A basic question please. I got a multiple entry 1 year non imm O-A visa with length of stay 1 year at the Thai Embassy in Helsinki:
Date of grant 21 July 2023
Visa must be used by 20 July 2024
Does it mean that every time I enter I will be stamped in for one year, even if I enter 20 July 2024? With this visa can I buy a re-entry permit after 20 July 2024? Many thks.
Despite the meant reasons my language school visa experience was a bit shady, I find myself feeling tempted again.
I was told I could only do one Ed visa once. The school is telling me there is a program where they can do a 15 month program for someone who has already done 12 months.
Currently on a Non-B 1 year extension. I plan to leave my current job at the end of May and travel out of Thailand for six weeks before returining to work for a different company in Bangkok.
Will i have to apply for a 90 day visa when i return or would i be able to extend the same work permit/work visa?
Hello all, I'm heading back to Thailand in September, I've been in America for over a year. I had the retirement extension for several years, but I've forgotten the step by step on how to apply.
