I heard that you need to stay in Thailand for more than 180 days to become a tax resident. Does the 180 day count get reset if I leave the country and come back in?
If I were to take out 1 million baht cash hypothetically ….let’s say and kept it in a safe in a house and then received DTV and lived of the 1 million baht (for two years let’s say)
Hi, my parents are ready to apply for a visa. They are 65 and have the required monthly income each of 65000 baht but not the lump sum of 800,000. They would like to spend most of the year in Thailand but return to NZ every year to visit family. They hope to do this for a few years. Some advice please on the best visa to apply for? The visa fees just went up a lot here in NZ which we didn’t expect but we have left it late so want to know the best visa to go for as the price is now $$$$! Thank you 🙏🏽
Another thought on the subject of Thai women being able to visit the USA. I've read owning property is a big factor... Do they care much about if it is 1) a home they are the primary lover inner 2) their name is on a family home 3) if it is rice Rai with the family.
Also what is the income threshold where Thai people need to file taxes?
