Can a person apply for the DTV by signing up for a Muay Thai or cooking course ,
AND ALSO get his spouse over for 10k THB ?
- will it work for this DTV option ?
Does the spouse need proof of financial stability with personal bank account showing 500k THB , or can he/she be using the same joint account with their spouse ?
I just had my Soft power DTV rejected in the Taipei embassy, they said a 2 week cookery course was not enough to get approved...I can try another embassy and do an online application as they don't leave a record. I'm quite disappointed as so many seem to have been approved for Soft power.
Hello, my partner and I have been together for around 14 months, having met through a friend. I’ve been to Thailand earlier in the year, she came back to the UK in July on a 6 month visitor visa, we are due to fly back to Thailand at the end of December. I know I can get 90 days, 60 days plus 30 by visiting a local immigration office, leave and return which will pretty much get me 6 months in Thailand. After that she plans to return to the UK with me.
So my question is this, I have thought about attending a course whilst in Thailand to learn how to cook Thai food, I understand I can apply for a DTV to assist my stay in the future, what I can’t get my head around is when I finish the course after a few months how can I get a visa that will last 5 years?????.
Hi! If I apply for the dtv for a course/activity like muay thai or cooking course, is the visa still valid even beyond the course duration or will I be required to leave Thailand?
Also, if you are legally common law in another country, are you able to bring your dependant with you on the DTV Visa, or will you need to be legally married in order for your dependants to accompany you?
