Hi guys. I want to apply for DTV visa, using soft power path.

Anyone has tops on how to do so cheaply and efficiently?

Any South Africans applied for the DTV yet? The consulate website points you to eVisa. SAs cannot apply for eVisas. Back to the consulate website they mention any visa must be applied for through VFS. Go to their website it doesn't work and they have not responded to any emails for a week already. So I booked a flight next week to go to the pretoria consulate in person but it would be great to hear of anyone who has managed thanks.

trying to get my tourist visa for my return next month and getting a weird behavior from the evisa site. Hoping someone has some helpful insight... I get to the payment, put in my info, hit submit, and it reloads the front page of the site. I log in again and it says pending payment again. My bank shows it already paid. I've gone through the cycle twice already.

My friend (not on Facebook) booked a 45 day trip on Ana airlines. When applying for EVisa from LA he had a bunch of problems with their payment and it didn't get sorted until 11 business days before he leaves next week. He doesn't expect the visa in time and now is exploring other options, like a quick trip out/back to ensure the airline lets him board.

Any advice from this group on options?
