Will one of you experts clear up an issue for me? I'm here on a non-retirement O visa with 800,000 baht in the bank. I thought that there was a requirement that the money remain in my account for a certain period (3 months maybe) after extending my visa before I could draw any of it out. On the face of it, that sounds pretty ridiculous - how would Immigration know what I do after I renew the visa? But I could swear that I heard something like this. Was I dreaming?
Hello, does anyone know how long before you can extend the Non Immigrant Visa O / 90 days for immigration in Thailand?
Please only answer if you really know it or if you have already had experience.
The request at the Thai embassy in Munich was answered with a link to immigration in Thailand, but I don't get an answer. What documents do I need to renew and what does it cost. ?
Can you get a 60 day extension on the 1 year Extension of Stay based on marriage? Curious as I need to move finances to fund the 400k for 60 days. Thank you.
Teri Cam your comment had NOTHING to do with the thread you put it in. Make your own post.
Hi Tod and Everyone, in my case due to the delay in opening the bank and wiring money, I will have only roughly 9 months history of 800K in the bank. Is it enough to to have an extension?

Teri Cam. Is this your first extension coming off a visa? Or have you had an extension which required bank funds prior to this one?
Teri Cam
Bobby Howard, I have Visa OA, and have been here for 1 month. So, this is going to be the first extension.

Requirement of funds for extension based on being over 50 requires is you have funds for two months earlier when you apply for an extension. That one-year bank account history is for the second application of extension or later. It is for IO to check you haven't missed the requirement to keep your extension for the previous year..

Ellie Takei Thank you sooooo...very much to clarify this. I am not going to rush depositing money then. Thanks again Ellie.
Hi, does someone have experience with extension of the 60 day TR Visa? I heard that it can be extended by 30 days once but do you need to show that you have a certain amount of money on your bank account to approve the extension?
Hey everyone! I’m hoping to return sometime in November from Canada. I usually get a “O” multi marriage visa. Have they changed renewal for these? Is it possible to renew after 90 days at immigration or am I better to apply for the new proposed long term tourist visa? I typically stay for 6 months.
I have a single entry (90 day) none o visa based on having a british citizen son at a paid school here (my son was born in Thailand and has both a UK & Thai passport) it runs out in January, the visa was issued from my home town of Hull in the UK from via Thai consulate done online, what are my options in regards to renewing my visa or extending my visa? Is I’m that even possible? Or is it a case of flying back to the uk and getting another every 3 months? I did email the Hull Thai consulate yet unfortunately they could not give me any solid advice although did send me a copy of all the documents sent from my visa application, thanks in advance for any advice
