I'm planning on going to da nang to apply for DTV. I plan to go 26th January. With the festival/public holiday this week I assume my application will take more than a week?
I got to Vietnam (HCMC) on Monday and submitted my application around 10am and haven’t heard anything back yet- I know it’s probably too early to hear anything (I’m just nervous lol) but my plan was to leave next Thursday night to go back to Thailand and I’m just wondering if that’s enough time? I’ve seen a few people say it took longer in HCMC than they thought so when should I start worrying?😂
I hold a uk passport and I’m applying for workcation if that makes a difference!☺️
Hi everyone, I’m applying DTV as a content creator in Phnom Penh and I applied on 5th Nov.
I have sent them requested documents and have no got a reply yet. In your experience, how long do they usually take and is it also possible that they reject or take longer time even though they don’t send you any emails?
Got the email on 25 Oct 2024, around 3pm BKK time.
A fast process given that on Tuesday (22 Oct) it was a Thai public holiday.
I applied using my own business, and my partner with a remote employment contract from a company outside Thailand.
Already on our way to the airport to fly back to our new home, Thailand 😻😻😻

Anyone have experience using the evisa system in Cambodia? Wondering if the processing time is really 5 business days? Saw someone in Ho Chi Minh get theirs back in 2 days. Also wondering if the documentation they are requiring is the same of if they are asking for more now.
Also, I think there is a Thai public holiday on Monday. That means their international embassies will be closed too right?
are public holidays and all immigration offices will be closed.
Airports or land borders are not affected by these closures.
If you have a stamp that expires on one of these dates then either apply early for an extension or go the next open day. For the latter you’d get a small stamp in Thai saying “overstay, fine waived due to closure”.
