Where can I find the website for the 90-day report in Thailand, and can it be done online? Do I need a new TM30 every time I travel overseas and return?

Hello everyone,

Can someone please direct me to the website for 90 day report? Can the first one be done online or need to be in person? I can’t seem to find it online unfortunately.

On another note, does the TM30 need to be done every single time by my landlord when I leave Thailand and come back from any overseas trip?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking information on how to complete the 90-day report in Thailand, particularly if it can be done online or if an in-person visit is required for the first report. Additionally, they inquired about whether their landlord needs to file a TM30 every time they leave Thailand and then return from any trip abroad. Responses clarify that some offices may allow the first 90-day report online but often require it in person, while many immigration offices require a new TM30 each time the tenant returns, although some exceptions may apply if returning to the same address.

@Joy *****
TM30 is the form with which a property owner has to register a foreigner who stays in his property.

The local Immigation website can be helpful in all Immigration questions.

If not a tourist destination, there may be less available informtion in english, then try another Immigration.

TM30 everytime you change location.

For the TM30 some offices require a new one every time you travel and return home, not just overseas travel

which is completely logical, because the hotel or other adress you visited should also do TM30, so how should immigration know you returned to a previous address.

1) First 90 day in person or recorded post 2) TM30 if travel and return to same address. Some offices require reporting others do not. Check local requirements. When I needed to do it I just filled on form at office myself confirming return to same address. Landlord not needed

Both questions will be office dependent. You may get away with the 1st 90 day report online but you probably won’t.

Some offices don’t need TM30 if you’re returning to your main residence. Most do.
