A friend of mine tried to do his 90 day report online but it got rejected, no reason given. Today is his deadline, but the rules seem to say you can submit 15 days before until 7 days past deadline. Is that correct? Has anyone ever gotten the same rejection? Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about their friend's rejected 90-day report submitted online, seeking clarification on the reporting deadlines. Comments confirmed that the online submission window is from 15 days to 7 days before the due date, and if rejected, the friend must file the report in person, which is allowed from 2 weeks before the due date to 1 week after. Additional advice included the best days to visit the immigration office to avoid crowds.

@Alex ******
if today is his due date he has until the 21st to apply in person without a fine, so have him go tue-wed-thurs as they won't be as busy as a mon/fri

That rejection notice is 100% correct AND he slogs on out to the immigration office to file in person

Since they updated the 90 day online system that is now the "window of opportunity" to file a 90 day report ONLINE

here's how the "windows of opportunity" break down for the different ways you can file a 90 day report

IN PERSON <- From 2 weeks before the due date to 1 week AFTER the due date (giving you a three week window to apply)

ONLINE <- From 2 weeks before the due date to 1 week BEFORE the due date (giving you a ONE week window to apply)

BY MAIL (if your office allows it) the envelope with the packet for 90 day reporting by mail needs to be postmarked about 2 weeks before the due date

please note I say the time line in WEEKS not days, because it is clear from looking at the thai graphic of the "window to report" that they are talking TWO WEEKS exactly (which by some thai count is 15 days) before the due date

To me this is 2 weeks before the due date.. Maybe I don't know how to count

Read the email you posted. 15 days before to 7 days BEFORE. He'll need to go in person now

That’s for reporting in person (7 days after). Online is from 15 days before until 7 days before.
