Has anyone experience with getting a new passport when reentering Thailand with dtv visa? How is it to handle with the Thai embassy? Because of the passport number and issue dates

TLDR : Answer Summary
When reentering Thailand with a new passport while holding a DTV visa, it is advisable to bring both the old and new passports, along with any relevant documentation like a printout of your Evisa. This practice may help avoid any complications regarding visa validity tied to the old passport.
Not yet, but noted on both of my children's visas that the passport will expire soon (they are 5 year only). Full validity of the visa given, so one might presume they expect you'll need to enter with both old and new passports in future. I gather if a passport is lost, one might also need a photo of the old.
