The validity of the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) remains intact even if your passport is renewed within 18 months, as long as you follow the proper procedures. If you need to renew your passport while in Thailand, you can usually transfer your DTV visa and stamps to the new passport at your embassy. If you receive a sticker visa, transferring it is necessary; however, if you have an e-visa as a PDF, you only need to show a printout. Always keep your old passport until the visa transfer is complete.
