Hi everyone. I am on a visa extension non b and forgot to do the 90 days reporting due last month. (I’ve tried and failed to do it online and the. Forgot about it...) I’m leaving thailand for a holidays in 15 days. Would you go to the local immigration office and pay for your fine (2000thb apparently) or try to pass the border and hope no one notices? Then hope it starts fresh with a new 90 days when coming back...

To be completely honest, it's not going to make any difference if you go to the immigration office now and file a 90 day report and get fined the 2000baht failure to file on time or not.

When you come back from your trip your next 90 day report will be due 89 days from the date you stamped back into the country. When you go to do that 90 day report they'll see you missed the earlier one and you'll be fined the 2000baht then.

The reason I say it doesn't matter is that the fine doesn't increase.

usually if you missed one 90 day report (and need to show up in person to pay the fine) the 90 day online reporting won't work ;)

Thank a lot for that. I suppose I’ll just leave the country and see if I can do the next 90 days report online or pay the fine if I’m asked... it will save me a trip to immigration now and several hours of frustration ...

Did you go to Burma in February? If so your 90 days starts upon reentering Thailand.

, If he used his seaman book he does not have exit and entry stamp in his passport, so the 90 day clock continued.

if they didn't stamp out of thailand on their passport they didn't 'leave' (even if they did) :O

Starting fresh not an option. Paying the fine is the only way to clear the missed 90 day report

Nobody care when you pass the border. But you get a fine when you do your next 90 day report, better is to do it before you leave.
