2000 THB or stay in Malaysia 1-2 nights . . . and keep in mind, in case you have entered Thailand visa-exempt and intend to bounce for a second time, be prepared to get asked for the three proofs (accomodation, cash, onward travel)

you mean the border at Padang Besar? You can do a border bounce there, but please use a "Visarun Agent" to get you there and back safely. Don't try that by yourself

have a plan B. You might be asked to spend 2 nights on the Malaysian side, and you need the MDAC form
