Thanks to the moderastors and others for the advice on the 90 day reporting procedures. Before travelling to Australia on 12 Nov, I was due for my 90 day report on 29 Dec. I arrived back on 19 Nov and after checking the 90 day reporting page, I reset my counter and it is now due in Feb. Saves me a trip to the Immigration Office. Thanks again.

TM30 lodged the day after I arrived back

The law is clear, you file a new TM30 when you come in from abroad (and bouncing out and in counts as abroad) BUT in reality that's between you and your immigration office,

(y) your next 90 day report is due 89 days from the date you stamped in (they count the day you stamp in as day ONE)

SO if you arrived on the 19th your 90 day report is due on Feb 16th ;)
