2 Visa exempt by land per calendar year... what does per calendar year mean?

If I did 2 land runs in 2017 already does that mean I can get 2 more right on Jan 1 2018?

I think that's right but I'm hoping someone knows officially.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The term 'per calendar year' refers to the period from January 1 to December 31. Therefore, if you completed 2 land runs in 2017, you can indeed do 2 more starting on January 1, 2018, as the visa exemptions reset.

and now that we sorted out that the term calendar year means Jan 1st until Dec 31st I think we're done, ;)

Jan 1 - Dec 31 is how it's measured. So, you are right. It resets on January 1st.
