Hello friends. I am in the process of gathering all my documents, but have read different stories everytime, so I'd rather be over prepared. But the following will need some clarity please:

- Document indicating current location. Assuming this means my entry stamp into another country?

- Bank statement. 3 months or just proof of money with 1 statement?

- proof of workcation. I have employment contract for the UK but I also hear that I should have the companies certification and a screenshot of my portfolio? I assume my CV would be good here.

- I've also heard that a TM30 is needed?

- Lastly if they fail my application will I need to pay another 10,000THB to repapply the second time? Please say no 😬

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a workcation visa in Thailand and seeks clarity on several document requirements. Key points include: proof of current location (entry stamp or accommodation receipt), a bank statement for the past three months, an employment contract indicating remote work capability, and whether a TM30 registration is necessary. The user also inquires about the costs associated with a potential reapplication if their initial request is denied. The responses clarify document expectations, confirm the need for detailed proof, and note that reapplication fees would apply only if the application is rejected.

If you are asked for more documents, you can supply them and there is no costs. If they reject or cancel your application, and you decide to re-apply, then you would need to pay the 10k again.

TM30 is registration of your current adres in Thailand......

You apply for a DTV outside Thailand.....

I guess you mean rental contract in Thailand. Some Thai Embassy demand a minimum of 6 months.

**Check the Thai embassy website**

If you’re in your own country I would use your DL, rates notice or electricity bill. If not your entry stamp and perhaps a receipt of your hotel accommodation.

Bank statement definitely 3 months.

With your employment contract and most importantly that it states that you are able to work remotely. Best to send as much as you think will be seen as a positive result.

TM 30 not required.

If they want more information they will ask for it and hopefully your status will move from processing document to pending approval and then finished. You will receive your DTV via email. Please double and triple check everything before submitting.

If for whatever reason you’re rejected you will have to stump up the cash again, they clearly state non refundable.

Good luck 😎
