So I've had a retirement visa before but I let it lapse and applied all over again. I already had the bank account and the 800k in my account. I provided all this info and got the 90 day. My question is when I go back to get the one year retirement visa stamped what do I need to show them? Bank Book updated with the date I go into the immigration office and ATM receipt? Do I need a statement from the bank as well since I already did all this and they gave me the 90 days. This is at Chiang Mai. Thanks in Advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a one-year retirement visa after receiving a 90-day visa in Chiang Mai, you will need to submit the same documents again, including an updated bank book reflecting the required 800,000 baht and a bank statement. An ATM receipt is not sufficient; you must update your bank book on the day of your application. Ensure to apply at least 30 days before your 90-day visa expires. All necessary documents, including new bank letters and passport copies, should be prepared for the application.

Sorry a bit off topic but can a person get a retirement visa with just the 800k baht? Or are there other requirements? Thanks

So I had to fill out a TM7 for the one year retirement and show bank book and bank letter showing the balance. Since I got the pass book updated by the bank and got the letter same day I didn't need to go to the atm to make a withdrawal and update bank book. The volunteers outside are very helpful too.
There were very few people at 2:30 pm in Chiang Mai immigration office.. it took just 15 mins to get the one year retirement. Thanks everyone
Thanks for the info. Will do. The bank statement can be for six months? Or do you need one year.

You can go back at 30 days, or less on your 90 day visa. You must have an updated bank book, and an ATM receipt does not work. Make a stall withdrawal with the ATM then in the update passbook machine update your bankbook, then get copies of this. Besides that you need everything else new. New bank letters, and new passport copies.

You can apply for your yearly extension up there when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp as long as your funds are seasoned the 2 months before you apply. AND you don't lose any days applying early as they add the year to your current 90 day stamp expiration date
Thanks Tod I got confused because I did the bank paperwork etc in order to get the 90 day.. so I assumed all I had to do was show the funds were still there.

you do it all over again, same copies, new bank letter, update the bank book the day you apply.
You're getting a completely new yearly extension and it has nothing to do with you just getting an in country 90 day non-O issued ๐ฎ
