What do I need to get a 30-day visa exemption or visa on arrival? I will fly to Singapore soon and come back a few days later. When I get back, my job will do the visa process.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To get a 30-day visa exemption or visa on arrival in Thailand, it is important to know your nationality, as only citizens from certain countries are eligible for the visa exemption. If you are from one of the 51 countries that qualify, you typically do not need any specific documents at the time of arrival, but it is advisable to be prepared to show proof of funds (10,000 baht), proof of onward travel within 30 days, and proof of accommodation (hotel booking). For those who do not qualify, a visa on arrival may be applicable, which has different requirements.
then you'll get a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp when you arrive here

If you're from one of the 51 countries that get a 30 day visa exempt entry when you arrive in thailand you don't need anything. You could however be asked to show the 3-proof-ofz;
proof of 10K baht
proof of onward travel in 30 days
proof of a hotel booking
People from most western countries aren't asked but just know you could be asked.
