Questions for the group. 1. If a person came in on a one month tourist visa the previous year, extended at immigration then did a border run to carry to this year, it's all well and good?
2. I have heard that a person is able to do a border run twice per calendar year and has to leave country, is this information correct?
3.Would the border run from the previous year count towards the previous question? Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion addresses several questions regarding border runs and tourist visas in Thailand. It confirms that a one-month tourist visa can be extended and that a border run from a previous year does not count against the current year's limits. Participants clarify that visa-exempt entries allow for two land border runs per calendar year, and the entry count resets on January 1st. Additionally, a suggestion is made for a 60-day tourist visa option as it provides better value and convenience compared to extending visa-free entries.
