The current covid extension program that was scheduled to run out on the 24th of May has been extended until the 25th of July.
This means unless you have a stamp expiring there's no need to run to the immigration office before the 24th to apply for a new extension.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The COVID-19 extension program for visas in Thailand has been extended until July 25th. Members are advised that they do not need to rush to immigration before the previous deadline if they have no expiring stamps. Discussions highlight the process for those entering on different visa types and clarify that travelers under certain conditions must seek regular extensions first before applying for COVID extensions.

Thanks for the update. I was on Thursday got mine for this time everything went smoothly and nicely no questions asked. The only thing they said was to have a plan b for now is the last time covid extension program but so they said last time too. ๐
if you came in on a visa exempt or tourist visa entry you must take the 30 day regular extension first before you apply for a covid extension
Now, whether people from the 18 countries who buy a 15 day visa on arrival when they land here for 2000baht can get covid extensions is totally up to the immigration office they're dealing with
