Okay, listen up, the covid extension PROGRAM (which was set to run out on July 25th) has been extended 30 days < meaning it now runs until August 24th
The TIME you get on a covid extension (clause 5 reason) did not change and is still 60 days like it has been since they rolled out the covid extension program on Nov 1st 2020.
SORRY for the bad info :(

I just received the 2nd 45 days of my most recent COVID extension on August 10th; if I go to immigration on 23 or 24 August to apply for the next one, are they likely to say I'm there too soon after receiving the last one?
, the only way you're gonna find out is to GO on the 23, 24th and see what they say,
All they can say is no and then you'd have to make a plan B and leave the country

it's dependent on the office you use, you have to ask the officer, some will some will not do it

Hi there can you please explain to me whatβs is the covid extension mean for me i am confused about all this information before the covid i just packed my things and flight in to Thailand π
Ellie *******
John Niah, it's an extension as a temporary measure during Covid chaos for those who cannot travel back home or to their next destination.
the previous covid programs were extended 2 months at a time, this one was only done for 1 month.
There was initial confusion on whether the time you got for a covid extension was also cut to 30 days from 60 but it is not. The only difference is that this program was extended only for a month.
hi just i got extension on July 19 in CW but the immigration don't give me covid extension...just only 30 days is the firts time to get extension.π€π€π€
which is totally NORMAL π as a rule you have to take your regular 30 day extension (if your entry stamp gets one) BEFORE you can apply for a covid extension.
Nothing at all to do with this covid extension program
