Has anyone had their outgoing flight information noted when getting a SETV? If I need to change flight and extend, will this likely be an issue? I've never seen a note like this before.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether noting an outgoing flight on a SETV (Single Entry Tourist Visa) could pose problems if the flight is changed or a visa extension is required. Several commenters shared their experiences, indicating that as long as travelers leave, renew, or extend their visa before the expiration date, changes to flights shouldn't create issues. It's noted that an onward ticket is not always required for certain visa applications, but having documentation ready may help. Confirmation or changes to flight details appear not to affect the ability to extend the visa.
Zach Peirce the good news is that you got your Tourist Visa ๐
I always recommended when answering any written question or submitting any information...just "keep it simple and offer no more information than requested".

Vientiane have written several different comments on my B-visa in the past but its never been an issue. They seem to be a law unto themselves at the moment.

it does nowwhere say, 30 day extension not possible. So the flight date should not be relevant whether you can A extend for 30 more days and still proove a flight out within this period,, or B change the flight within the admitted time (23 rd of march)
Tourist Visa, if you had previously some Tourist visas your application will be considered more carefully. Vientiane is now asking for proof of funds, Book Bank with balance THB 20,000.- up OR print out from Bank account from home country value USD 700.-up.
***Onward air ticket is not required,
but prepare Rental Contract.

I always gave a ticket, so just figured why not. Maybe next time I wont offer more than requested (but I have been in and out a lot on Visa Exempt entries so figured a ticket home would help since that is where I am going next) ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ

Did you show a flight leaving Thailand on 18 Mar 2020?

Yeah, thought it was odd. Mostly just checking if it was common now and/or would cause a problem.

First time I see it. But it is information as you provided, i do not see a problem. If you apply for the Extension of Stay they might ask if you took care this flight arrangement.

Yeah, I have flexible flights booked (with points). I knew Vientiane is fairly strict so figured it would be best just to show what I have planned. 95% sure I will use them but was a little surprised when I saw the note. Wasn't sure if it was common, something they would check on, etc.

Looks odd, but So long as you leave, renew or extend the visa before it expires, I can't see an issue
