Hello, I come with a 60 day Tourist Visa and want to extend. If I go now to get an extension, start the extension from this day, or the last day from my 60 days?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When extending a 60-day Tourist Visa in Thailand, the extension generally starts from the current expiration date. Most immigration offices allow you to apply for an extension up to 30 days before the expiration, and they typically add the new extension period onto the existing visa duration. However, there can be variations, and some offices, like in Jontiem, may require you to wait until the last week before applying. It is also noted that during the Covid pandemic, extensions were often granted based on the date the application was made.
And what kind of visa I can apply for? Covid again or is there something else?

Ok, I extended while my covid visa before and they extended from the day I went to the office, so I've lost one week. But I heard stories, that they extend from the last day of tourist visa, so I was not sure
Most offices allow you to apply 30 days prior to your current stamp. They will add on the days so there is no downside to going early. If you use the Jontiem office they make you wait until your last week.
normal 30day extension IS added onto the existing extension. It does not start from the day you go to immigration office. Not in my experience, anyway.
