"Morning everyone, I need to also get an extension on my Non O marriage to Thai in 2 weeks. I now have a Yellow Book and The Pink Thai ID card, so Iโm hoping for 3 or 12 month extension, as a safety guard the Australian Embassy in Bangkok also provided me a letter saying Iโm unable to return as Iโm a Queenslander and they have shut the doors. I will let you all know how I get on and any hints I pick up. My immigration office is Mukdahan."

TLDR : Answer Summary
Ian McCully is seeking advice on how to obtain an extension for his Non-O marriage visa to a Thai national, considering he holds a Yellow Book and a Pink ID card. He also mentions having received a letter from the Australian Embassy due to travel restrictions. Community responses suggest that having the Yellow Book and Pink ID may not be sufficient for a visa extension unless he meets the financial requirements.

sadly a yellow house book and the equally worthless pink i/d card for foreigners are not going to help you in the least get an extension
So you have a 90 day Non-O visa now?
unless you meet the financial requirements for an extension based on marriage to a thai (400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 60 days BEFORE you apply for the year extension) you are unlikely to get one.
You do NOT need the letter from your consulate to apply for a 60 day visit thai family extension based on marriage to a thai.. <- That is the one I'd try for first (unless of course you DO meet the proof of funds when you can just apply for a year extension based on marriage)
