go on Vietnam Visa Advice group, you can get it expedited in 1 working day or less, but it is the weekend now. It will be expensive if poss.

Seen many reports in Vietnam FB groups saying visa can take 5-7 (or more) days (not the 3 advertised). Nothing you can do to fast track it. They won’t let you on the plane without one.

Couldn’t say pre covid. Only went this summer. Was in the FB groups for info about it and saw lots of posts from people caught out by the time taken to get their visas. For Brits (and a couple of others too) not too much of an issue as they get a 15 day exempt stamp. Not followed them since visiting so no idea if it’s changed.
