it’s 1 year reporting requirement, so similar to 90 day reporting. So you need to fill in the reporting form. In my case I fly out of country every 1-2 months so it keeps resetting. meaning probably no reporting until year 5.

there is no annual requirement to check-in. Unless you're asking about the "90-day report" which is extended to the 1 year report for LTR holders. For that you generally just need your passport at your local immigration office.

i paid 50,000 for ten years that’s very cheap. no 90 day reporting. you can buy a Thai Elite visa for 5 years for 600,000 haha

I'm not quite sure what your actual classification is as a consultant, but you can look into the LTR to see if you qualify.

If you do, it's one of the best visas around right now and really the only visa in existence that says it's okay to work remotely in Thailand.

Otherwise over 50 will work just fine for you. No one needs to know you're working in Thailand. Thousands of people work remotely and while technically illegal, the laws that govern work in Thailand haven't been updated in decades and that makes remote work more of a grey area. They don't ask and you don't tell.
