I need short advice. I live in Thailand since many years. I am on a one year retirement visum combined with a multientry visum.
Do I have to report my address every time when I come back from an international trip of a month.
I stay in the same house every time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand after an international trip, it is generally required to file a TM30 if there is a change in address, but if you are returning to the same residence, the requirements may vary by local immigration office. Many expats report that in regions like Chiang Mai or Jomtien, it is often not strictly enforced, while others note that some offices may encourage or require it for clarity. It’s advisable to confirm the specific requirements with your local immigration office, as policies can differ and are subject to change.

Thank you for the comments. In the end I went to Jomtien Immigration. Asked them and the officer said she preferred that I did it. Two times I asked if it was demanded. Same answer - she preferred it. I went through the process without problems.
I should mention that they announce a new app via Line which will allow Address registration and 90-days report on line. I down loaded the app via Line and it looks convenient.
Anybody has used it? I have never seen it before and last time I did 90-days I didn't observe it.

For Bangkok office, you may have to file tm30 again if you have recently returned from aboard, and are subject to the new 90 day. But if you manage to check in 90 day online successfully, then you don't have to do anything yet.

Depends where you are, here in Chiang Mai as long as you're returning to your current address then you don't have to.Other regions will have different rules so check with your local immigration office.
I was told by an io 2 weeks ago that I didn’t need to,whether that changes from one officer to another I couldn’t say, though it’s quite possible knowing Thai immigration 😊🤷♂️
I read that CM DID require a TM30 after returning from abroad. The justification was that they needed to correlate the TM6 number with the TM30 but since they've effectively abolished the TM6 not sure if they've changed policy again

In general, if you (or your host) file a new TM30, you need to file a new TM30 when back but if the address on file hasn't changed, you don't.
But as mentioned before, it depends on the policy of the individual immigration offices around the country.
