Hi guys. I'm from the UK. 

I work online as a free-lancer and self-employed. 

I have contracts with my clients and a dedicated social media page for my work. I can also meet the financial requirements.

Will I be required to show tax and business registration documents as part of my application?

Not likely.

I think the proof of work is secondary to the proof of financial independence (the savings amount) & the ability to pay the fee. It’s possible that every embassy has a different approach though.

If you can show your personal tax returns and relate them to your income you should be able to get away without a business registration in most places

Depends on embassy you are applying from; Taipei requires business registration docs. Some embassies are ok without tax and bus registration docs, others will request them if not satisfied with initial application.
