TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether individuals can successfully apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand using only a portfolio of work and income, without formal company registration or a work contract. Participants share experiences, indicating that some applicants have managed to secure visas using bank and tax records alongside project lists. There are suggestions of alternative options like registering an American LLC, but there are debates regarding the implications and taxation complexities of using foreign company registrations.
, I was wondering if you could tell me what you sent them in your list of projects? I sent a screenshot of a list of websites I’ve built showing the homepage and links to the sites, but they’re asking for more info. I was just wondering what you had sent? Thanks 🙏🏼
Did you have to provide proof of residence? If so, how if you are not living in Canada? Same situation for me. I want to make sure I have all they need before applying.

couldnt you just open an american LLC remotely for pretty cheap
if in thailand it would for any dividends paid from the company as it is overseas income, or if they are under 180 days and non tax resident there or anywhere else
yes, there are some denials but more yes than no for London. Send them an email for any questions you have. They respond fairly quickly

Yes, there have been posts by such London DTV applicants. Search threads here or in other FB sites like Thai Visa.

As Andi mentioned, there were several posts (some very detailed) about putting together an employment portfolio. It sounds like the more details you provide, the better. Good luck!
