Hello, I would like to ask for a friend. 

He has been in Bangkok since October on Non B VISA - 90 days (1x Vientiane, 1x Kuala Lumpur ) - no extentions, Czech Republic passport holder.

As he lost his job because of the covid19 situation, he would like to (after borders will open) apply for a tourist visa for another 90 days and stay as a tourist in Thailand. 

His question is, if it’s possible after being in Thailand on NON B visa to get a tourist visa?

(also, he got a new passport, not sure if that is making any difference).

At the moment land borders are closed and Thai consulates are closed.

What will happen in the future and how this amnesty is going to end is a guess to all of us.
