Hi guys, 

Can someone help me sort this out?

I have a Non B Visa and am no longer working, and want to stay in Thailand, but I can't get a Covid Extension (it's been extended again), because of the Non B.

I just chatted with someone in the same situation, who left Thailand and went to Vietnam, came back in with a "30 Day Exemption Stamp". She claims she can extend her stay for 60 more days with a fee of 1,900 thb.

Is this a new policy?

Yeah, she mixed up the process. She would first need to pay 1900THB for the standard 30-day extension. THEN she could next pay another 1900THB and apply for the 60-day covid extension before 24-May. In total, if all goes successfully, she would have 120 days in Thailand:

30-days FREE visa exemption

30-days 1900THB extension of stay

60-days 1900THB covid extension of stay

Nothing new about this. If you come to Thailand with no visa, you get 30 day (depending on your nationality) and you can get covid extension with that. You probably need to get 30 days extension first.
