Hi all, I have been asked to come back in to KK immigration on 5th April , currently under consideration for 1 yr extension on marriage. Had interview at home with immigration officer and I thought on the whole it was a good experience and good service. My question is once I get the extension can I go on holiday and blow my 400k or do I have to hold it for a few more months? I anticipate using my monthly pension (UK) method next year which I already transfer anyway. Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is seeking clarification on whether they can withdraw their 400,000 THB from their bank account after receiving a one-year visa extension based on marriage. They have been advised by community members to keep the funds in the account until the extension is confirmed and to consider potential financial implications, such as currency fluctuations and monthly deposit requirements. Community experiences indicate that KK immigration does not typically check bank balances upon return.
All above advice is correct - FYI both extensions by marriage I have had with kk they have not asked to see bank book on return even though I kept the 400k balance and took it with me π
May I ask when you've got married? I got married last week and next week I will go for visa extension based on marriage, so from non-imm with 800K to 400K.
