I am 50 years old on Thursday and have all my documentation ready to take to Jomtien immigration on that day to apply for a non immigrant visa, apart from the bank documentation. My branch of Bangkok Bank does not open until 11 am. Does anyone know if I can go to Bangkok Bank tomorrow afternoon and get the guarantee letter etc as long as I go to immigration first thing Thursday morning? I have read Pattaya city expats club website as recommended here and it does mention this is possible but just wanted to check if anyone has any experience of doing this? My concern is I will not be 50 when the bank produce the letter. Thank you

I wouldn't even chance it, Just wait it out, go get the bank letter, update your bank book and then head over to the immigration office to apply for the 90 day Non-O visa.

The last thing you need to do is get the letter early then have it rejected because you got it before you were actually able to apply for the visa.

IMHO it is not worth it... ..
