I hold a french passport and Non B visa (worked for the last three years and three months)
My work contract comes to an end Monday Feb. 28 and my work permit will be cancelled by the company I worked for.
My visa will expire on March 3rd.
I would like to know if I can extend my stay just a bit longer while Iβm in Thailand to better plan my move.
Your help is appreciated ππ»

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding a French passport with a Non B visa, inquired about extending their stay in Thailand as their work contract ends, leading to a cancellation of their work permit and an upcoming visa expiration. Responses indicated that with the cancellation of the work permit, the user's permission to stay would also end, implying that they would be at risk of overstaying. However, they could apply for a 7-day 'refused extension' as an option for a brief stay.
I just extended 2 days ago. So I can stay 7 more days

As your work permit will be cancelled and your contract ends on 28 feb, that is also when your permission to stay/extension expires - and day after that you would be on overstay. Your only option is a 7 day "refused extension" extension.
