I've recently received the 30 day extension (emergency/Covid- I've used all other applicable extensions prior to this). I was given the "under consideration/must return" stamp. Now, I've obtained the visa in Buriram & the way I understand it, you are required to return to the same immigration office to receive the rest of your time- so you get the initial stamp, come back 2 weeks later for the final stamp allowing you the 30 day total. I am currently back in Bangkok & was a bit concerned about travelling all the way back to Buriram; I'd heard there may be little to no public bus transportation, & possble quarrantines when changing provinces, etc. Not to mention it's probably safer not to travel if possible. So, does anyone happen to know if there is any way to go about completing the extension process without travelling back to the same immigration office in this case, other than simply overstaying for 2 weeks? Thank you.
