COVID Extension Question.

Background:

45day Visa Exempt Entry: 08Aug

30day Extension: valid until 21Oct

Previously in Thailand (Jan-May 2021) via TR plus Covid extension, if it matters.

Considering trying to further extend via 60day Covid extension.

Q1) Of any of the Bangkok offices, Chonburi (Jomtien) or Phuket Immigration offices, is there a more "lenient" Immigration office regarding the "inability to travel" requirement to obtain the 60day Covid Extension?  

Technically, it is not "impossible" for me to get home, just would rather deal with much lower levels of Covid here, than back home.

Q2) Does immigration frown on entry stamps and extensions from multiple offices? (E.g. I should stick with Phuket for everything)

In BKK at least, I've been on CoViD19 extension since the very 1st day it was introduced, always get my extended without questions and i can get my expiry date added, can apply 45 days before my expiry.

Minimal docs requirement.

If you are changing resident, they will need a TM30 filed where you apply for extension

You still have 3 weeks until your permitted to stay period finish. You maybe want to wait for applying for Covid extension as late as possible since the first Covid extension would start the day of application. But better not wait until the last minute in case you need additional documents.

Prepare for the worst (for example, in case you're asked for concrete proof that you can not travel you need any proof, or to prepare to leave Thailand) since you already have proof you could travel in your passport, then hope for the best. Keep watching others' report how it's going in October.
