Hi everyone and thanks for the info!! I have read through many of your posts and helped me a lot to understand the METV. 

The only thing I couldn't find is the following question.

I am Italian and I reside in Australia, I am not an Australian citizen but I am a resident.

Would i be able to apply the METV from Australia even if my home country is Italy?

IF you have residence status in Australia, you can get the METV multiple entry tourist visa.

AND as a passport holder from Italy they also might grant you a METV multiple entry tourist visa.

I suggested Canberra because they are the ONLY ONE outside of your home country which issues the METV multiple entry tourist visa to passport holders from Western Nations. (NO other Thai Consulates in Australia will issue the METV to foreigners from Western Nations)

ASK them if they can issue the METV... with your residence status in Australia....or as passport FROM Italy.
