I am a Singaporean that work remotely for a company in Europe. Can i apply for Workcation DTV visa ? As i see there is ACRA company doc requirements but since my company is not Singapore based , there is no ACRA docs. I meet the other requirements already. Any advice ?

You only need ACRA document if you're applying at the Thai embassy in Singapore and are employed by a Singapore company. If you apply in VN check the requirements for it at their embassy website.

Yup, cause the VN site just says

2.5.1. Workcation:

(1) employment contract from employer outside Thailand;

(2) employment certificate from employer outside Thailand;

(3) in case there is no employment, professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status.

So they dont need any ACRA like document

Anonymous participant you can use the group search tool keywords Singapore and Singaporean, I recall a couple successful applications with no fee being charged as per ASEAN status, can't recall the embassy used. BTW Vietnam is getting stricter, so if you apply there make sure you can produce business documents/registration and banking statements and possibly your tax filings that appease their demands.

Anonymous participant I have applied and got approved about two weeks ago for the DTV with the Thai embassy in Singapore. The ACRA business profile of your employer is required especially if the employer is a Singapore-based entity. You may want to write them an email at

to clarify what else can be provided instead in your case where your employer is a non Singapore based entity.
