TLDR : Answer Summary
Purchasing a condo in Thailand does not automatically qualify a foreigner for a long-term or resident visa. The requirements for obtaining a visa are separate from property ownership. While some may consider investment visas, the typical condo purchases do not directly impact visa eligibility. Individuals must still meet specific visa requirements regardless of property ownership.

Purchase of a Condo has absolutely nothing to do with your visa, so no just buying a Condo will not guarantee you a visa of any kind, you still must meet all the requirements for the visa you are applying for or extending.

A few complexes advertise a free "elite visa" but its just rolled into the sale price. Same rules will apply.

You could look at an investment visa but condo purchases have to be from the developer and pre approved

That program ended many years ago.

Purchasing a house or condo does not give you an advantage for a long term visa. Like Paul Light said you can still get a visa regardless.

visas and condo purchases are 2 different things.

you can get a Long term visa without having to purchase a condo

Owning a condo has nothing to do with your visa.
