I am holding a valid retirement visa. Recently I had to travel to USA to attend my mother’s funeral who passed away because of Coronavirus. Is there any restriction for me to return to Thailand or am I even allowed to enter in the midst of Corona Virus situation?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, foreigners, including those holding valid retirement visas, are currently not permitted to enter Thailand. The ban on international flights is expected to remain in place until at least April 30, 2020, and travelers are advised to monitor official announcements for updates regarding entry requirements.

you don't have a valid residential visa :/ you have a yearly extension of stay based on retirement, and it cuts no ice to get into the country. Sorry :(
Right now ONLY thai nationals can get in

You are NOT able to return to thailand at this time. the airspace and borders are closed to foreigners coming in.
Watch the news for when they might re-open AND what the entry requirements might be at that time.
