I came on Qatar frim Manchester and no proof of onward flight required although there is a box to tick ssying you have all the required visa and associated stipulations covered. I did actually have a cheapo flight to Vietnam booked which i didnt use.
It depends on which immigration office you use. I transferred mine using Wise. If you select "funds for long term stay" as your reason for the transfer then it usually shows as coming from overseas but i believe its not guaranteed.
Oh wow, thats brutal. 🥺 They were fine during covid but are seemingly back to their old ways. Always insist on using the meter and take a photo of their taxi license which should be posted in full view.
Same with my experience. I have only been asked once in the last 10 or so trips here. I didnt have one but just told them i was going to travel to Vietnam and they let me board. That was with Emirates. I actually bought a cheap onward flight this time but again I wasnt even asked about it (Qatar Airlines).
my understanding (which could well be wrong) is the landlord/ hotel etc us legally obliged to register you but not to print out the TM30. Im sure a lot of hotel owners in my home country would see the money making opportunity for printed copies and charge.
