I didn't "Omit LTR and OX". That was NEVER what my Instructions were for, and which you criticized. Moreover, both of the above have their own significant Financial Requirements -- again, NONE of which an Agent may Bypass for you. And, No Mr. Smartass, you couldn't possibly get either of the above using an Agent and only giving them your Passport and 3900 Baht. Lastly, you show your extraordinary Ignorance by claiming the "Stamp you receive from an agent is perfectly Legal". Agents can't give you a "Legal" Stamp, only an Immig. Officer. Now, why don't you "Put your Money where your Big Mouth Is", and Post for the World to see, exactly what kind of of "Stamp" you are currently staying in Thailand on (Non-O with Retirement Extension? LTR? OX?), and how you claim you obtained it without meeting any of the Financial Requirements, by simply using an Agent, giving them only your Passport and 3900 Baht? And, then I'll be happy to pass along your information to the Office of Investigations for Thai Immigration.

And, likewise "Highly Beneficial" to others to know that it is simple and easy to "Do It Yourself", without wasting money on an Agent. There are only 2 LEGAL Methods for obtaining a 1-yr Retirement Extension -- 800K Baht in Thai Bank Account, OR, using the Income Method (requiring either an Affidavit certifying Pension Income from your Embassy -- no longer provided by USA, UK or AUS, or requiring proof of 12 monthly Foreign Transfers of 65K into Thai Bank). No Agent can LAWFULLY bypass these requirements. And, FYI, the interest rate I am earning on my Thai Bank Account Deposit has always been equal to or greater than I would earn in USA Bank Acct. As for "your experience and discussions", I say Humbug. My own experience and highly credentialed background, demonstrates no Agent is required for the straightforward process of obtaining a Retirement Extension.

Sure, and I cannot help but notice, you didn't answer my last post as to whether or not you are claiming that an Agent can bypass the legal requirement for you to have the 800K Bank Deposit (or 12 month Income Statement) and requisite documentary proof of same. P.S. I didn't say you "work for an agent", only that you must have some "connection" (i.e. friend, relative, etc.). Otherwise, why would you be so vocal about my attempt to provide helpful and accurate Instructions to those who don't want to use an Agent. What's it to you???

Not quite sure what you mean by "apply for it beforehand and 'reserve' it? The Re-Entry Stamp is valid for same amount of time as current Stay (i.e. either the 90-day Non-O, and/or the 1-yr Extension of Stay), and can be used any time until above expires. Purpose is to keep your current Visa and/or Extension of Stay valid.

And, nobody "gives a Rat's ass" about your UN-educated nonsense either. My Bank Branch is 1000 meters from my residence. Go there at opening time at 11am, out by 11:15am. Go to copy shop a few streets away, spend another 5mins. copying Passport stamps. Then Immig. Office Appointment at 2pm. Save 3900 Baht. And, if you are claiming that using an Agent can bypass the Mandatory 800K Deposit (and/or Proof of Income Method), then you are a liar. P.S. I suspect your strong "defense" of using Agents, must be because you are connected with an Agent or Agency.

Really??? So, the Agent can get you a Retirement Extension, with no proof of Bank Deposit (or 12 months Income Method); and no personal attendance at Immig. Office. Ha. BTW -- Aside from the mandatory Bank Statement, my Passport (with copies made of relevant stamps inside -- oh, how traumatic to go to copy shop and make copies), that is all anyone needs per my Instructions.

No wait at my Bank to get Statement. Took 5 mins. And, btw, are you actually trying to tell me your Agent can go to your Bank without you, and get Statement. I don't think so. As for Immig. Office, you still have to go to Immig. Office in person too!!! And, at least in CM, I don't see Agents "cutting in line" any more. Either way, I make online Appt., and little if no wait to see Immig. Officer. And, FYI, ya you're right, I am very uneducated with my Harvard Law School Juris Doctorate, and my long-time appointment as an Arbitrator Judge for the Thailand National Arbitration Commission, I know nothing.
