Hi I have a question regarding the non-immigrant ED visa. My first and only visa expired on the 23 of April and during that time the visa office has said that they will be closed until the 31st of July. I have recently been offered an internship from another organisation in Bangkok, can anyone help me figure out what my next steps should be ? Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm on a one year student visa for a self defense class (Chiang Mai). One year visa is up on July 5th. I'm aware that I'm good to stay until July 31st due to the the amnesty. However, I wanted to do another year visa for school. Normally, I'd just apply through my school and then fly to a nearby country for my visa. While I have my doubts, I heard a rumor that currently you can apply and also receive a student visa without the need to leave the country at all (due to the current situation). Is there any truth to this at all or should I just wait and see what the travel situation is at the end of July? Thanks for any insight.

So I have all the paperwork from the school already but in my country (France) the Thai embassy ask me to show a statement with at least 10,000€ on it.

I would like to know if you have to show the same amount of money if I do my visa in Vietnam or Lao for example.

was wondering if anyone knew of the muay thai schools in bangkok which offered education visas. also have people been successfully granted the ed visas lately? i have heard that many countries have been denying these visas. any info is greatly appreciated. thank you.
