Hello group. I'm currently in Bangkok on a 30 day visa exempt stamp that lapses 28 November. My plan is to apply for a Non-O 90 day visa at CW on 8 November. I have accomodations arranged for 7 November through 29 Jan 2022 at three different hotels in Bangkok. Given my circumstances as outlined above, what will I be required to show the immigration officer with respect to evidence of my living arrangements/address in Thailand when applying for my non-O? Thank you in advance.
I am in Europe. Coming back to Thailand early 2020. I have a "1-year-extension of a Non-O based on retirement" & a "Re-entry permit" made in Jomtien. Validity : till March 2020. I am NOT an owner, last time I did my extension, I was renting a condo for 6 months in Jomtien. When I come back early 2020, I wish to be a nomad around Thailand, i.e. travel & stay in hotels for some time before finding a new place to settle down. QUESTION : when I will renew my extension for another year in February/March 2020, WILL I NEED A PERMANENT ADRESS & I.E. PROVE THAT I AM RENTING A CONDO FOR X MONTH(S) ? or will the Immigration (of the province where I will be at the time of my visit to immigration) accept that I will be staying in hotels, moving around in Thailand ? Thanks !
Arriving Thailand next week and this will be the first time I’ve ever attempted, I think TM30 it’s called ? Stayed in hotels before and at my girlfriends place but never seen anything about TM30 until I joined this site.
Not really publicised anywhere for 30 day visa/entry on arrival.
Now my question is while staying at my girlfriends place (don’t think there is a lease)
1. Do I get the signed copy of the Blue Book and ID card or from her landlord ?
2. Has anyone had experience with the immigration office in Ayutthaya ? Can give me some tips ?
I will of course get signed copies of her ID as well.
I have never had to do this before but with the crackdowns etc I’m a little concerned. Last trip the officer at arrival just asked where I was staying and I told him her place he only asked what’s her name. Didn’t appear to write it down just asked smiled and stamped me in.
Went to rayong immigration today and was told I need a proof residence. Also visa says valid till March . How do I get a proof of residency if I live with friends? Also do I have until March to extend? Thanks for your time. Much appreciated👏🏼
