Guys, I want to stay in thai for 2 months. 1 month currently is free for Indians. 1 more month - can I renew in immigration or go to Laos and come back?
Or do I need to apply a 2 month visa from Delhi only?
I am currently on a student Thai language visa. I got a new job so I'm planning to go to savannakhet to get a nonB work visa then come back. I know I need to cancel my current visa before I leave and set the dates accordingly, so I will do that before I go to Laos (it is a legit Thai language visa, so I have proof I am a student there).
I've been in Thailand since July, so about 8/9 months. Originally entered with tourist visa issued in my home country (Canada, and then converted to a student Thai language visa with Payap uni in CM)
This is still allowed at Savannakhet right? Even coming from a student visa?
The school is doing the paperwork for the application. Do I need any bank statements or anything out of the ordinary to get this done. Anything else I should bring?
I can cross over to Laos on a Sunday to be at Thai embassy early Monday morning?
I am supposed to go to Laos by land at the end of this month (2nd exempt visa expires on the 30th) to apply for a single-entry tourist visa. This is the first time applying for a tourist visa at a Thai embassy in a neighboring country.
As I am, currently, applying for a teaching position at a school in BKK, but I need more time for them to process my docs for a non-B visa, etc.; how can I manage the documents required for the 'single-entry' tourist visa knowing that I will continue staying in Thailand?!

5. Travel itinerary to and from Thailand and accommodation e.g. plane/train/bus ticket, hotel booking, letter from whom you will be staying with and a signed copy of his/her ID
How did you guys manage point no. 5?
Also, the trip from BKK to Laos, accommodation, etc
If there is anyone who has any recent personal experience, please, message me in Messenger.
Otherwise, if it is too much of a hassle to get through it by myself, I may have to opt to travel there with a visa company.
Hi, for visa run or border run (not sure the difference) to Vietnam. Do I need to have visa to Vietnam?
What is the short, safe and less expensive visa run/border run you can recommend me to do next week from-to Koh phangan. I can't do Malaysia, unfortunately. Thank you
Does anyone have any experience of doing a border run at the end of a long term visa.?
We were told by Thai immigration at Chaing Khong that if my Filipino girlfriend went out of Thailand at the end of a one year education visa that she would not be given normal visa on entry
Update: had a good experience crossing the border from Thanaleng (Laos) back to Nong Khai. We didn’t do a border run exactly, we stayed for 5 days (Also surprised about Vientiane, its a nice place if you want to take a break from busy Bangkok). IO didn’t asked questions, everything went very fast and easy. If you already have 2 visa exempt I suggest to do a border run through Nong Khai - Laos.
Hello,
I have a question about crossing land border between Nongkhai to Laos. Me and my boyfriend are Dutch and we both entered Thailand twice by air since October ‘22 (2 times visa exempt). Our current visa exempt is till January 14th. We are thinking about doing our first border run from Nongkhai to Laos, because we haven’t set a date for our return flight (probably end of February). I think if we enter Thailand by air again the immigration officer at the airport will ask us questions about our stay in Thailand and probably need to show a outbound flight.
Do you think we can do a border run for a new visa exempt without any problems?
