Hello all...although my US passport is good for another 8 years all my pages are almost used up from my traveling. Anyone know how long it will take at the US consulate in Chiang Mai or Bangkok office to get a new passport?

Does the Canadian embassy issue income verification letters and if so would they do it if the income was from a US based pension?

Has anybody recently attended a visa interview for a Thai person to attain visa in the UK? We have an appointment for interview in Bangkok but there are two contradicting addresses for where the interview is held. Tried to contact the embassy with no response.

at there been the discussion yesterday - - @Soren Larsen - for getting a new german passport in Bangkok at the embassy you need in general a copy of the birth or the marriage certificate - this information is from staff at the passport counter (same information as on website).

I need to get another 30 days on my current visa in Bangkok.Can anyone please tell me the best way to do this.Go to the embassy or go across the border for the day?Thanks
