Will I have any issues with an overstay due to a lost passport. My visa expires today and I can apply for a new passport. I will have 10-15 day overstay depending on how long it takes to arrive. Will I have any issues re entering if I have the police report etc to show I lost my passport.
Does anyone have experience doing a border bounce using a passport that is in the renewal process? I'm wondering if current pp will show up 'invalid' on the system if I border bounce.
UK passport office is on strike and I only have 30 days left in Thailand. I still have access to my current passport. I don't want to overstay as it will prevent future visa applications.
My current Education Visa finishes on 11 June 2023. This week I've applied for a new passport and estimated waiting time is around 11 weeks which would approximately be the end of June. Ive read its possible to leave and re-enter Thailand using an emergency travel document. Does anyone have any experience with this?
So I lost my passport and my visa expires on 5 January as the uk is so backlogged will need to get an emergency passport, do I then need to get my visa stamped in it at the immigration office in Bangkok?
Morning All, Is it possible to fly to Thailand from Singapore on an emergency travel document/passport with a visa exempt ? I am a UK citizen working/living in Singapore and also living in Thailand with my family. UK passport delays are up to 11 weeks to replace my damaged one so I wanted to return to Thailand to see my family. thanks
I just got a covid extension and lost my passport (UK) what do i need to do? I've not reported it missing yet as i may still find it. Can i get a new passport sent here?
My passport is expiring 18 April 2021 and my embassy just got an issue with their system and will take 3 months to give me a new one, so that means for a covid visa extension they cannot stamp my passport longer than the expiration date in 3 weeks and I will be with no legal document here. My embassy offered me an emergency passport but I don't know if at immigration they take that as legal document (I came here and they said it dwpends on the answer of the government, so nothing clear)
For the moment I also see the option of going out and come back.
Anyone who sees a solution that I'm not seeing? Or the cheapest way to do any of these two?
Please would really appreciate your advice in this moment.
My passport has expired and as a result I will be flying back to SA on the 26th December. I have to go the embassy in BKK from Phuket to apply for an emergency travel document but the bus ride is almost torture. I just wanted to know if it possible to fly domestically within Thailand with an expired passport? TIA
