So on 2nd July I will have had 60 days on my tourist exemption. When I extended it last time the immigration officer said I could do another 30 days bringing it up to 90 days as long as I was in the process of applying for a non O immigrant visa. Is this correct? (Earliest non O appointment I could get was 18 th July! )
Also if you do a border crossing do you have to stay overnight out of Thailand or can you come straight back in again?
There's probably a very easy answer to both these questions.

My stamps:

* 31 MAR 2020 - 30 d. TR Extension
* 22 SEP 2020 - NON-IMMIGRANT - category "ED"
* 22 SEP 2020 - 3 m. NON-ED
* 30 NOV 2020 - 3 m. Extension
* 15 MAR 2021 - 3 m. Extension
* 16 JUN 2021 - 3 m. Extension
* 16 SEP 2021 - Cancelled ED, applied for 2 m. Covid Exemption
* 15 NOV 2021 - 2 m. Covid Exemption
* 14 JAN 2021 - 2 m. Covid Exemption
The latest is due on 15 MAR 2021, I would like to get the Covid Exemption again for the last time as my plan to return to my country (Slovakia) is in May.
What are my chances of getting it? I heard that each immigration office is handling this differently. If so, would you please suggest going to Phuket Immigration, where I did all of my visas before, or would my chances be better let's say in Bangkok... or somewhere else?
