At Vientiane embassy they are asking for Guarantor in Thailand despite what some people here said you didn't need. The people at the door asked many people to fill that section. They said just write some friend in Thailand.
Hi. I'm gonna extend my OA visa this week by first time. I got this form in immigration division 1. Is it required to have a guarantor to be able to extend? I don't understand very good what is this form for.
I'm going to Laos to do visa run and I am confused about these. Do I have to have a guarantor in Laos too? If I don't have any acquaintance there, can I still apply for TR visa?
I'm applying for non-immigrant ED visa seeking for multiple entry.
I just have some questions regarding with the form.
1. How many number of entries should I put or will it depends on my intent to request at embassy?
2. Is filling-in the form of the Guarantor needed? Because I don't have anyone else to be as Guarantor in Bangkok. All I am thinking would be the landlord I'll be staying in.
I'm just about to post my retirement visa application to the Thai embassy in Australia and during the final check, before taking it to a JP, I'm concerned about the following and wondering if anyone may be able to clarify:
1. Question 18 asks for the contact detail for my local guarantor. I'm assuming this does not relate to my visa?
2. It is stated that I need to have a 'rubber stamp' from my doctor for the medical certificate. He has included his medical licence number which I thought would be sufficient. Do you believe an actual rubber stamp is required also or is that just another way of saying that it needs to be authorised/validated with a licence number?
My partner and I are planning to visit Thailand in a couple of months time (around August). I hold a Sri Lankan passport and need to obtain a visa physically from a Thai embassy or a consulate.
The visa application requires me to write down a name & address for a Guarantor in Thailand.
Could someone be willing to help me out with this. Please drop a message to my inbox.
I am in the process of planning my first trip to Asia, including Thailand and Malaysia. As I plan to spend some time in Thailand followed by Malaysia and then return to Thailand for some time, I will require a Thailand multiple entry Visa. I have heard contradictory reports about the application process for such a Visa. What I am wondering about is the section on the application form asking about my trip itinerary. It has been suggested by some that it is only necessary to list the place/hotel where I will first be staying. However, the application form asks for a complete itinerary. As I will be travelling for 90 days, this seems a bit much to ask. Also, I am asked to provide a Guarantor in my country of residence (I am Canadian, living in Spain).
Who can serve as a Guarantor (i.e, are there requirements for who can fulfil this role)? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
