I am going to the Philippines for a short trip and organizing my RT-PCR for the return to Thailand. The Philippines can currently only propose mostly saliva RT-PCT tests, do you know if this is OK to enter Thailand or does it have to be the typical nose swab? Thank you!
We had a medical exemption bc we are covid recovered. However, the Berkeley hotel manager wouldn’t accept the medical exception and forced us all to take another PCR and while we were all negative back home, they are saying my husband is positive and needs to to go a hotel.
Help.
Updated:
I had emailed the Bangkok hotel our recovery forms, our positive results and 2 negative PCRs from California before from we left home. I had given him and emailed him a copy of all the Thai government screenshots.
He confiscated my recovery certificate, called the police, there was a warrant against us, police raided our hotel in Chiang Mai.
I have attached my emails to the embassy below.
As you can see, the Bangkok police were never told about my recovery certificate.
I’m sure it was just a misunderstanding.
Please have multiple copies of all your papers.
I hope this helps someone avoid confusion and stress.
Absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED Thailand and especially the kind, polite and respect Thai people. The culture is wonderful. We extended our trip and had a wonderful time.
Can’t wait to go back soon.@[1600831506671146:11809:]
I was just looking some advice on the current restrictions on Thailand now that test and go has been suspended. I have my flight booked for the end of Feb and I did get my Thai Pass approved last week. Am I still able to go under the test and go or will I have to do the longer quarantine process?
Bearing in mind that UK/EU is a long flight to Thailand (in my case 22 hours). What is the rule for PCR test within 72 hours? Is it 72 hours to departure or 72 hours to arrival time? I wonder what happens with delayed flights.
Hi all, going to start booking everything for my trip for the 28th from UK to Bangkok. Has anyone got a recommended order of what to book? Should I book flight first then move onto insurance then Thailand pass and visa etc? I’m so scared I’m going to mess it up somehow. Any advice would be great! 💚
